Welcome to WorkLore ("we", "us", or "our"). By using worklore.app you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. WHAT WORKLORE IS
WorkLore is an anonymous workplace intelligence platform where verified employees submit reviews about their workplace experience. WorkLore is designed to surface honest, constructive insights at the team and role level.
2. WHO CAN USE WORKLORE
You must have a valid work email address from an employer to submit reviews. Personal email addresses (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, iCloud, and similar) are not accepted. You must be at least 18 years old to use WorkLore.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT AND VERIFICATION
We verify your employment using your work email domain. Your email address is used solely to confirm employment and enable sign-in. It is never linked to your review content or shown to other users. One account per email address is permitted.
4. SUBMITTING REVIEWS
By submitting a review you confirm that:
- You are or were a genuine employee at the company you are reviewing
- Your review reflects your honest experience
- Your review does not contain defamatory statements, personal attacks on named individuals, or false factual claims
- Your review does not contain confidential or proprietary company information
You may edit your review within 24 hours of submission. After 24 hours reviews are locked to maintain integrity.
5. CONTENT YOU SUBMIT
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting a review you grant WorkLore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, aggregate, and analyze your review content to provide the WorkLore service.
WorkLore uses AI to summarize and surface patterns from review content. Individual reviews may be included in AI-generated summaries shown to other users.
6. PROHIBITED CONTENT
You agree not to submit content that:
- Identifies or attempts to identify specific individuals by name or other identifying details
- Contains harassment, threats, or hate speech
- Is deliberately false or misleading
- Violates any applicable law
- Contains spam or commercial solicitation
WorkLore reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms without notice.
7. ANONYMITY AND PRIVACY
WorkLore is designed to protect reviewer anonymity through technical and policy measures. However, no system can guarantee complete anonymity in all circumstances. Do not include information in your review that could uniquely identify you. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The WorkLore name, logo, and product design are owned by WorkLore. You may not use them without written permission.
9. DISCLAIMERS
WorkLore is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any review content. Reviews represent the opinions of individual employees and do not represent the views of WorkLore.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorkLore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of WorkLore after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
