WorkLore is built on honest, constructive workplace intelligence. These guidelines exist to protect reviewers, keep insights useful, and maintain a platform that employees and companies can trust.
What makes a great WorkLore review
- Specific and based on personal experience
- Focused on patterns and behaviors, not individual people
- Constructive — describes what happens and what could improve
- Written in plain language with genuine effort
What is not allowed
- Content that names or identifies specific individuals
- Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
- Threats or content intended to harm
- Deliberately false or fabricated claims
- Spam, gibberish, or low-effort responses
- Confidential company information (financials, unreleased products, trade secrets)
- Sexual content of any kind
How moderation works
Every review is automatically checked before publication. Reviews that pass are published immediately. Reviews that need a closer look are held for manual review within 48 hours. Reviews that violate our guidelines are rejected with a clear explanation.
Appealing a decision
If you believe your review was incorrectly rejected, contact us at hello@worklore.app with the subject line "Review Appeal". We review every appeal within 5 business days.
